I am an IRVAP registered Veterinary Physiotherapist with full insurance cover who has completed the Advanced Certificate in Veterinary Physiotherapy run by Canine and Equine Physiotherapy Training (CEPT) and accredited by The University of Middlesex at Level 7.
Previously I achieved a BSc (Hons) in Domesticated Animal Science degree at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and then went on to write my PhD assessing the effects of stress on performance, behaviour and immune status at Harper Adams University College. I also have a PGCE in Further Education.
I was a lecturer and course manager in Animal Behaviour and Animal Science at Bishop Burton College but wanted to return to working with animals more closely and so returned to study Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Whilst my main work is with dogs and horses I am happy to work with all species, such as cats, rabbits and exotics, alongside your veterinary surgeon. I have extensive handling experience of a range of different species and I am passionate about helping animals.
